The
name of the shop came from the Patriots who fought for freedom from the
British. The Shop was started in 1991 after the church had repurchased the
Parish House.
The
shop operated through sales of donations and consignments. Just about
anything was accepted for consignments, from records to clothes to china.
Consignors received 70% of the sale, the remaining
30% went to the shop for operating expenses and donations to the church's
offertory.
Currently
the shop is closed.
